IPhone 3GS home button

Grrr… I got my other problem with my phone fixed but now the home button doesn't work. I'm asking this on my phone, so what can I do? My dad can't fix it until tomorrow, and I need it As soon as possible. Meaning before tomorrow, without replacing or disassembling anything.

If you go into settings, then accesability, there should be somewhere where you can make a touck screen "home button" you just have to click the little icon in the corner of your screen, and it acts like a home button

I would say turn it off. Put alcohol on the edge of the home screen yes it will get in the iPhone. Get like a pen but the top side and continusly push the button for about 3 mins. That happened with my iPhone and it actully worked.

Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
  • My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!

IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
