Iphone 4 battery life shortening?
My iphone 4 battery is dwindling and there doeswn't seem to be a explaination. I close all background apps, turn the brightness to the lowest setting, no 3g or Wi-Fi, no notifications but it goes from 100% to 10% within a hour. Anybody else got this problem?
This happens with my Ipod, after 3 hours it will be at 20% and then, oddly, it will stay there for another 3 or 4 hours, the battery life also rises, but anyway this is probably the result of charging it over night or using it whilst it is on charge.
It's old, and bettery life shortens over time. I replaced the bettery in my ipod video, but it's probably harder to do in the iphone. You can pay apple a bunch of money to replace it, or buy a new phone. The galaxy s4 has a removable battery so you can replace it when it gets old. They overcharge for what you get though.
Try draining the battery completely and then recharging. Also never over charge
