Iphone 4 bluetooth and honda civic 2007?

So i have an iphone and i recently bought a honda civic 2007. I want to pair up my iphone to the car but every time i put my iphone's bluetooth on and try to pair it with the car, the lady says 'no phones were discovered' or something along those lines. Does anyone have an idea how to pair my iphone and my honda civic?

1) Make sure the iphone bluetooth is showing as one and discoverable
2) depending on the make/model of the bluetooth on your civic, check via the internet if its compliant
3) If nothing else, take it to your local Honda dealer and i'm sure a nice person there will do it for you

  • Playing music from iPhone in my honda civic? I just bought a new car - 09 plate honda civic EX and want to use my phone to play music through the car stereo? There's no jack input though - does anyone know what options I have to make it work? (Other than those crappy fm tuners that you put in the bottom of your phone coz they're very temperamental)
