Iphone 4 cases, which do you recommend?

I have had 2 Iphones before this, one died at a music festival due to a giant rain storm and the other died because I accidentally dropped it down some concrete stairs.

My mom upgraded to a 5 so I'm getting her 4 tomorrow and I really do not want to screw this up. I'm definitely getting a screen protector.

What Iphone 4 case brands do you recommend that are under 30 dollars? Really safe and all?

Otter box

Mines a black recharger case off ebay for $10, gives me about another 50% and never ran out of battery since i got it

Get one that's like a soft plastic feel because those absorb the hit not a hard case I have one and its not very good

Well, if you really want to protect your phone, you should go for either a LifeProof Case or an Otter Box. I would choose the LifeProof case because its less bulky and protects it just as well as an otter box. Problem is, Otter Boxes and LifeProof Cases are pricy. Between $50-$80. If you want something under $30 go on amazon and get a knock off otter box. Protect almost as well and way cheaper. My friends brother got a otter box-like case for $3.95. But if you want to be safe, you might need to spend a little more. Hope I helped.

Otterbox
Clumsy me has had it for about a year now
With the case I dropped it twice and another time dropped it into a puddle of dirty water…_.
When I dropped it the phone was 100% fine. With the plastic covering for the screen that is attached to the skeleton the screen never gets dirty.
When it dropped into the puddle it didn't break.
Some water DID get into the case.
But it took 2 minutes IN A CAR (I wasn't driving btw) with just a few tissues then a few hours of drying and it works perfectly.
I've heard good things about life proof. But I think that's mostly for dropping it in clean water.
Definitely not as protective as an Otterbox.
