IPhone 4 disabled due to wrong passcode
A friend left her phone in my car and i didn't have mine on me so i tried to get in hers to call her, I knew the 4 numbers but wasn't getting them in the right order and eventually the phone said iphone dissabled try again later. When she goes in and uses the right password will everything be gone?! I feel so bad! I read how to fix it but I'm hoping maybe once the right password is put in it will be normal? Any answers are greatly appreciated!
Nah, nothing will be gone. All that happens is that it will disable for any amount of time between 1 minute and a hour depending on how many times you got it wrong. No worries, by the time your friend gets it back, and enters the proper code, it'll be back to normal.
You ought to try emergency call. If she types in the right passcode, she should be able to get in.
Well, everything won't be gone unless she had it on the setting "erase everything on this device after 10 failed login attempts". But if she doesn't then everything will still be there.
Like all the ther sayng, she will not lose her stuff on phone, just maybe get new passcode
