Iphone 4 from att moving to straight talk?
I'm buying a used iphone 4 from someone i know. The iphone is with att and the owner doesn't know if it's unlocked. I was to move the iphone to straight talk on att. I'm currently with straight talk and i want to keep my number. Can you give me steps on how to do this transfer. I've never.worked a iphone before. Please give advice also please.
Does your phone currently have a SIM card. If not buy a sim (AT&T Straightalk sim) and ask to transfer your account to that sim. If your SIM card is micro then place it in iphone. If it's not micro then cut to make it fit the iphone sim tray.
You'll need Wi-Fi to activate phone.

If you're not sure if the phone is unlocked, get it checked and unlock it if necessary. Once done, put your StraightTalk SIM in the iPhone and activate it. If your SIM is normal or mini-SIM, trim it to micro-SIM. If you need any help with unlocking, mail me for references.

- Still possible to use att iPhone 3GS on straight talk? I have an AT&T iPhone 3GS with no SIM card. I have looked online and it seems straight talk is no longer offering AT&T SIM cards, only tmobile ( i really don't want to use tmobile towers!) My question is basically how do I get a SIM card for my phone that will allow me to use AT&T towers? Please be as specific as possible a link / how-to won't hurt my feelings!
