IPhone 4 IOS 7.0.4 Activation run around?
I purchased an iphone 4 off of craigslist which was a huge mistake… Guy had it showed me it worked even made a call. It's CDMA so in front of me he removed the line and it no longer had service gave him the money went home… Still had his info attached to the phone and apple ID so i decided to restore it to put my info and now it's asking me to enter his info. I tried calling and texting him he either blocked my number or it was one of those text free numbers so i have no way of getting in contact with him… Just need to know a run around to this thank you.
You're screwed. If you can still contact him, which it appears that you can't, you could ask him to remove the iPhone from his account.
There's no way around it, because if there was, what would be the point if you could just bypass it?
You got ripped off, and probably bought a stolen phone. Be more careful next time.
