IPhone 4 not playing ringtone
My iphone is not playing the ringtone when I get a call. The switch on the side is not on vibrate. When I listen to music without headphones sound come out. The ringtone only plays if I have earphones in.
I would try going into your sound settings and make sure the volume is all the way up and make sure that your vibrate on ring and vibrate on silent is turned on. These are features you don't necessarily need to be turned on but it might fix the issue of one of them is turned off.
Another option is to try restarting you phone by just clicking the power button and if that doesn't work then push the home button and the power button at the same time until you see the apple symbol, then let go of the buttons and it will reboot and see what happens.
If that doesn't work I would suggest taking it to an Apple Store and see if they might know what to do.
The IPhone 5S is also coming out soon, so it just might be time for an upgrade.
Nearest Radio Shack you can trade it in and get credit towards the 5 or 5S.
