Well do you like paying for everything you want to add to your phone app wise, waste a bunch of money on accessories and jump through a bunch of hoops if something breaks or buy a droid and get free apps and have a more user friendly phone layout with a much better warranty? I think i've made my point
Most definitely droid, iphone doesn't even compare to what a droid can do. I presonally use a samsung galaxy s II = couldnt ask for anything better
I just watched something on this last night - apparently the Droid is much more open to apps, so there's less control - more options. Apps have to be approved for the iphone, so there's more control and regulations.

If you like innovation and simplicity as well as software compatibility and the option to go advanced, then I would recommend you go wtih an Apple iphone 4.
If you like a device that is afffordable and with technology that may be inferior when compared with Apple, then go with a droid.
Both have Software Development Kits available for developers and consumers who know what they're doing.
