Iphone 4 power button not working. I have warranty?
I have an iphone 4 which I bought directly from a Verizon store.today, my power button stopped clicking and no longer functions… I don't know why. I have an active warranty but should I go to the apple store or the Verizon store? Will they give me a new phone or fix it on the spot?
Go to the Apple store. They will likely give you a new one on the spot. You have to make a reservation for a genius appointment.

There are two options in filing a claim for damaged iphone under warranty.
First option: Directly call apple or go to the apple store and speak with an apple genius. Tell them the IMEI number which is at the back of your phone describe to them the what happened and the condition of your phone so that they can determine whether or not your iphone is still under warranty.
Then, if it is still covered, they ask you to send the phone over to them where they assessed the situation and decide whether to fix it or have a brand new one as a replacement for you iphone.
Second option: The easier way. Registered your iphone on the apple website, schedule for an appointment at an apple store and have your phone examine.
