IPhone 4 problems? Screen is cracked
I dropped my iPhone 4 & I don't want to take it to apple store or any place because most places charge 100 - 200. I was thinking About buying the kit and doing it myself. While watching the YouTube videos? What should I do? Should I try to do it on my own?
I would definitely say do it yourself. I've done it countless times and its actually pretty straight forward. Just make sure you find a good video and organize all of the parts. For example, I bought a tray with different compartments and every time I removed a part, I placed the screws and the part in the same compartment so I know how to reassemble the phone. And also, be gentle with the ribbons. The first time, I ended up ripping the ribbon making the new screen useless… So I had to buy another one. If you check on eBay, they are as low as $20-25. Just be sure to be patient and have a lot time. Once you do it the first time, it should be no problem the next time. Best of luck!

My IPhone 5C screen is cracked (a lot!) everything else works and there seems to be no other problems other than glass falling out of the screen. - I have a big problem, i cracked my iphone screen and my home button and didn't fix it until a year later, i didn't fix my iphone for a year,? By this time, i have forgotten my password to unlock my phone, which led to my iphone disabled and linkin it to itunes. Finally remembere my password on itunes connected the usb. And itunes said, do you want to allow access info on iphone? Click continue. Then says please respond to iphone.Tho nothin cause its locked. I don't know what to do, because the photos on my iphone are precious to me and if i could get it factory reset id lose them all. Even tried icloud. With no sucess.
