Iphone 4 screen broken water damage?
I sat in a paddling pool with my phone in my pocket a couple of weeks ago. I put it in rice to try and fix it and now everything works i.e. It turns on, buttons work and screen turns on, but the touchscreen itself doesn't work. The screen turns on but just doesn't respond when touched.
Any ideas on how to fix this or how much it would take to get fixed?
(I don't want to take the phone apart myself)
Go to a phone shop they might get it fixed it will cost between £100-£150 depending on how badly broken it is if the screens broken its better to get someone who can fix them to give you a screen replacement also be careful next time I dropped my ipod on the floor and broke the screen it cost £20 for it I would say get a screen replacement off somebody trained to fix apple items
There might be corrosion around the connector. You can bring the handset into Black Legend, we Specialize in Liquid and Physical damage. A definite price for Liquid damage can't be given, as it will need to be assessed.

- Is my iPhone broken (water damage)? About 5-6 minutes ago, I dropped my iPhone in the toilet. I dried it off, and the screen was fuzzy. Then the screen went really dark, to the point where I can barely see it. I tried turning it off, but the touchscreen isn't working Is there anything I can do?
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
- IPhone screen very dim after water damage? And a temperature warning? I dropped my iPhone 4 in water about 2 days ago, and I tried turning it on today. It seems to turn on, but the screen is very very dim. Like, you can just barely make out the display when the device is held on an angle. From what I made out, there's a temperature warning on the screen. Also, the flash is slightly lit up? Is there anything I can do, or is this a lost cause?
