Iphone 4 stuck while putting in dfu mode?

My iphone 4 has stuck
i downgraded from ios 7 beta 1 to ios 6.1.3 <factory locked>

then phone wasn't activated because of factory lock

then i put my iphone into dfu mode by dfu ipsw <redsnow>

but my iphone was in soft dfu mode

then after reinserting the device my pc is not recognizing the device

i can't on that phone because of broken power/sleep button

please someone help me.

Normally just holding down power+home buttons for a minute or so fixes that, but since you can't try using itunes, it might detect the iphone even if the pc isn't

Do you remember how you put it in dfu mode? It's the same way but instead of releasing the power button you hold the power button and release the home button

Is your device's UDID registered? You'll have problems after running iOS 7 unless you register on a site like http://www.instantudid.com/ for $5. They fixed all my activation issues with my 4S.

  • What happens when you put your iphone into dfu mode when its turned on? I had my iphone on and put it into dfu mode( i think thats what its called ) but i held down the home and power button for ten seconds and then let go of the power button and continued to hold the home button for another ten seconds. My screen went black and now it won't turn on! I plugged it into itunes and restored it. Will that fix everything. If not help me please!

So once I successfully entered PWNED DFU Mode, I 'got out of it' and the apple logo came out. Since my iPhone was tethered jailbroken, I had to click just boot. And the apple logo would just stay there until I did the tethered just boot option.So, my iPhone screen was at the apple logo and I tried to enter DFU mode normally, the thing got back to PWNED DFU mode… Urgent reply!
