Iphone 4 won't activate and has no sim card slot?
I went on amazon and ordered an prepaid iphone 4 from Boise, ID, US and when it came i put 20$ into it, but still can't make calls. I turned it off and back on and it says that its not activated what do i do?
How the hell did you put $20 in it? In order to even make calls, you have to activate the phone with a carrier. Since it appears that it doesn't have a SIM card slot, then it's a CDMA version, either for Verizon or Sprint. Activate it in whatever carrier it's locked to, and then you can add money to make and receive calls.
- Iphone 4 Verizon has no sim card slot? My iphone 4 doesn't have a sim card slot. I go to camp on sunday and were not allowed phones but ipods are okay so I was going to take out my sims card and leave it at home. What can I do so I can still bring it?
- IOS 6 won't activate and doesn't read the sim card? I recently updated my iPhone 3GS to IOS 6 and when I go through every thing it says Could not activate iphone, try connecting your Iphone to Itunes to activate it" but when the iphone is in power with itunes it reads the phone and asks for a sim card, but doesn't read the sim card I have in it it is an AT&T sim card.
