IPhone 4S 8GB in terms of data storage?

Hi, and thanks in advance.
I currently have a HTC Wildfire, I'm not sure what size but the storage is horrific, especially for apps. I'm thinking about getting an iPhone 4S 8GB for Christmas but I'm looking for an idea of what amount of songs, videos, pictures and apps can go on. I'm looking at a lot of pictures (around 500+), around 200 videos and about 100 songs. Apps will be a tricky one, because I have no idea how many I'd get. From what I've given, will 8GB be enough?

I honestly think that 8gb will, defo not be enough for what you want to store on it, I have the 16gb version and I used that up very quickly, in my opinion I think you should go for the 16gb version.

I would get the 16gb. 8GB doesn't sound enough for 200 videos. I have 900 songs, 12 videos, and just over 500 pics. And i don't have that many GB's left. I do have quite a few apps though, having said that, but it think it's all dependant on the app size themselves.

  • Would 8GB of storage be enough? I'm getting an iPhone 4 with 8 GB of storage… Would it be enough to store 300 songs, 700 photos, and around twenty small apps… ( like not advanced high quality graphic games, just Instagram an Facebook).
  • Will the iPhone 5C in 8GB be enough storage? I recently had a Samsung phone with 8GB and on that I stored over 2500 photos and videos, I had 200+ songs and around 10-20 apps, yet I never ran out of storage. I've been thinking about getting the iPhone 5C and now I'm wondering if 8GB will be enough and if I'll be able to store the same amount of things on the iPhone as I used to on my Samsung. If not, about how much would it be able to store?
  • Why does my Iphone 4 only have 6.3 GB of storage when it's supposed to have 8GB? I looked in the "usage" section and it says that I have: 4.6 GB used and 1.7 GB available Shouldn't I have 3.4 more GB available because I have 8gb of storage? I'm kind of confused.
  • Other in storage taking up 8gb on iPhone 4s? There's 8gh of "other" on my iPhone 4S. Is there a way to get rid of it without restoring my phone?
