IPhone 4s battery dying really fast?

I just recently replacement for my iPhone 4s, because I broke my old one. The battery on my new phone drains so quickly, and I didn't have this problem on my old phone. Last night I charged it to 100% then unplugged it and went to bed. When I woke up I had 63% battery left. It's so ridiculous. Is there anything I can do to make the battery last longer? Or should I just contact apple and see what they can do about it?

It might be a bad battery or a bad charger

The iPhone 4S is a touchscreen-based smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is the fifth generation of the iPhone[5] and retains the exterior design of its predecessor, the iPhone 4, but is host to a range of improved hardware specifications and software updates.[6] The phone added a voice recognition system known as Siri, for which the S in the products name stands,[7] and a cloud storage service named iCloud. Some of the device's functions may be voice-controlled through Siri.

On October 4, 2011, in Cupertino, California, Apple announced the iPhone 4S. On October 7, 2011, it became available for preorder in seven initial countries (United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan) with the first delivery date set for October 14, 2011 and available on that same day for direct in-store sales in those countries. It was released in 22 more countries, including Ireland, Mexico, and Singapore on October 28.

If you use so much of applications running in internet your battery will get down soon.

  • Why is my IPhone4s battery dying so fast? I've had my IPhone 4s for a little over a year, and I charge it every night and when I wake up it's at 100%. When I take it off the charger, it starts going down. I wake up at around 9 AM every day and by 1 PM it's already at like 40%. I still have the old software (haven't updated to I0s7 yet) and have like 2,500 pictures so is that maybe why it's dying so fast? Please let me know!
  • Why is my iPhone battery dying so fast? I just bought an unopened iPhone 4S, because I prefer the smaller phones, and the battery drains in less than 5 hours. The phone was never used before, but is the age of the phone the reason it's dying so fast? Will replacing the battery make a difference? As those are old as well even if I but an unopened one. bought* My previous iPhone 4S is just as old, but was used constantly. And that has much better battery. Lasted two days, even if being used a lot.
  • Why is my iPhone 5s battery dying so fast? The only apps I have are the ones Apple put and two games. Should I get the battery replaced? If so how much do you think it'll be?
