IPhone 4S Broke Lock Button. I only used rubbing alcohol like everyone says?

I was just cleaning my iPhone regularly because it was getting very dirty so I used rubbing alcohol to clean it, after a few hours, I was folding clothes and I noticed it was getting sticky then it suddenly quit working. I've had this iPhone since March 12, 2012 and the warranty is already up… I'm like freaking out and I didn't really do anything to my phone except clean it! Help me please! I also did it a little bit to my home button/volume keys and I did a lot to my vibrate switch. I'm very lucky to have a working home button… I'm using my iPhone to do this question… Please help me!

  • Selling iPhone 4S lock button broke how much? I got a new phone and I wanted to sell my old one (iPhone 4S) I know I won't get much but apart from the lock button not working and some minor scratches it's alright how much do you think I can sell it for?
