IPhone 4s disconnected but still can text?

I didn't pay my phone bill so my phone was disconnected. I was still able to receive and text other people with iMessage using Wi-Fi but now when i try sending a text it won't say its delivered. Can i use Wi-Fi with iMessage as long as my phones disconnected or only for a certain time?

  • Will my Iphone still say 3G if it is disconnected? I have an Iphone 4s and it is updated to IOS 7 and It says I have 3G and I have signal but everytime I send a message it says that the message was not delivered and it won't let me use the internet or anything that requires data such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. I tried resetting my network settings but it didn't work. I can still call and stuff, but I'm not sure what else to try. Thanks in advance for any help. I can also receive text messages.
  • Why can my iPhone text other iPhones when my phone is disconnected? Today around 10am my iPhone got disconnected (hadn't paid my bill yet), I went to text my aunt (who doesn't have an iPhone) and the messages wouldn't send, 30 minutes later I texted my friend who does have an iPhone and I could successfully send and receive messages. And as of 9hr later, I was able to text another person with an iPhone. What's up with this? Not complaining or anything, just curious why it's happening.
  • When I get up to walk I start to feel disconnected & want to zone out but I keep pushing myself but then I run back to lay down. I'm scared? What is this? Could it be from looking at my iPhone 24/7 and laying down all day bevsuse when I get up I feel weak and faint
  • What happens if you text and call a disconnected number from an iPhone? I'm trying to figure out if someone's number has been disconnected. When I call it says your call can't be completed as dialed no matter what phone I call from. When I text from my iPhone it appears that the text was sent and I don't get an error invalid message and the text doesn't turn red. Could this just mean that incoming calls are not working for this person?
