IPhone 4S earpiece speaker extremely quiet?

Since updating to iOS 6 the in call volume of the earpiece has been so low I can't even hear the person on the other line. Has anyone else had this problem or know what the fix could be? The hasn't been any water damage and I don't use a screen protector. Any help is great help, thanks

Just curious, have you tried turning up the volume when you are making your calls? That might be the problem

  • Why when I connect my Iphone to my car the music is so quiet? I have a aux cable already connected to the stereo that I got the car, my friend plugged her iphone in the same one i have 4s and it worked fine it was not quiet at all, i plugged my iphone in and i have to have it on full volume just to make out the words on the song i was playing music of o2 tunes which is an app but when my friend did hers it worked fine does anyone know why or can i do something on the settings?
  • On the iphone 4s, what is that black thing on top of the earpiece/speaker? I'm trying to debate what color iphone 4s to get since i'm getting one tomorrow. I noticed that on the white iphone 4s there's a black line above the speaker/earpiece, and that isn't there on the black one. What is that? I'm referring to this
  • My iPhone 5 is really quiet when making calls? Recently my iPhone has been really quiet when I'm on the phone. If I ring someone or they ring me I can barely hear what they are saying. Its only been like this for the last few weeks it was fine before then. All other sounds are loud so the music plays fine and my ringtone/message tone etc is all fine. So does anyone know why or how I could fix it? All help appreciated:-)
  • IPhone sounds play from ear speaker, not bottom speaker? Every so often, when I double click the home button, scroll over to the volume level, there's a little symbol for air play. When selected, I can play sounds from either the I phones ear speaker or the bottom (louder) speaker. However, this seems to go in and out and most of the time the air play icon isn't there. How do I fix this?
