IPhone 4S Grayed Out Wi-Fi iO7
Okay so first things first is my Wi-Fi is grayed out and won't turn back on. I've tried resetting the network setting (which didn't work) tried the reset (holding the home button and the lock button) and I've tried turning it on and off but nothing has worked. It's done this before and my brother fixed it by turning it off and leaving it off and I've tried that again but it hasn't worked. It also doesn't have that heat warning thing where when it gets over heated it will warn you and it doesn't do that at all! It was a contract phone but my sister switched it to pay as you go for me and it only started playing up when my credit and Internet data ran out. Before it grayed out it would keep disconnecting and I know It has nothing to do with the connection because my iPod touch never disconnects and has full bar signal.
Has the phone ever been dropped or otherwise banged around? There's a known problem with the 4S that makes it slightly vulnerable to mechanical shock, which can loosen some contacts inside and stop wi-fi from working. The phone has to be replaced to fix it.
- Unlocked iPhone 4 says no Wi-Fi, grayed out I have an unlocked iPhone 4. I'm not sure if it's factory unlocked or if someone did it. Well the Wi-Fi doesn't work and says "no Wi-Fi" and is grayed out. Is there any solution to this without having to reset my iPhone because I don't want to lose all my data or make it relocked.
- Should i update my ipad 2 and iphone 4 to io7.0.6? They are both currently 7.0.4, and I wish I had not updated my iphone last time as now it freezes at times and can be slow. The new update is supposed to contain important security stuff but I don't want to mess up my devices by downloading it. I had asked this question previously but with the wrong info by accident
- My Wi-Fi is grayed out on my iphone I can't turn my Wi-Fi on because it won't let me:\ I've tried resetting network settings and almost everything else recommended online… Does anyone know how I can fix it? I haven't tried restoring it yet but if I don't find a way to fix it i might have to. And no, I don't want to take it to Apple to get it looked at or fixed, it would be too expensive.
- My itunes songs are grayed out Okay, so i'm putting songs on my iphone 4 and every time i try to drag the songs from a folder to itunes it won't work. However when it does work the songs are gray with a little reload sign next to it. I tried everything! It won't work.
