IPhone 4s iOs7 Sound problem?

Just Updated to the new iOs 7 and had some issues now (NOT since the update 2 days ago, but from today) The sound is not playing from the speakers. I can go to settings and when I change the ringtone, sound plays though the speaker at the bottom, but as soon as I come out of that, and into play some music, no sound and no volume bar on screen, buttons are not responsive. I can also put in my headphones and everything works as it should.

I have searched online and have tried many solutions, try cleaning out the charger port of any dirt and fluff (Done this, no good) tried a different charger (No good) tried a small key/paper clip/pin/thin sheet of metal (No good) tried holding the volume buttons while changing ringtones (which does bring up the volume bar on screen) then pressing the home button, and still no luck.

I think that it is stuck on docking mode, and I have also restored back to factory with no luck, is there anything I have missed? Or is the phone/dock port broken?

You haven't missed anything. This is a bug that a lot of iPhone 4s users are experiencing. Clearly Apple didn't perform enough testing before its release. I happen to have an iPhone 4s too and i have the same problem. Trust me, you and I aren't the only ones. You can check this emerging bug report in Apple support forums.

Until Apple release a patch for this, you can't do anything about it.
