IPhone 4s message app freezing?

Most of the time when I try to send a text my phone freezes for a couple of seconds. It also happens randomly when reading messages and such. Could this be due to the amount of messages I have?

Try rebooting it!

If you have a large amount of messages saved up then that could very well possibly be the problem.

  • Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
  • Why won't my 5c send a message as MMS when it's a long message to a non iPhone user? Whenever I type a LONG message to an SMS user (says Text Message in the messaging "box") my 5c won't convert to MMS and the recipient gets the message in dozens of out of order messages instead of the whole fluid message. I have MMS on in Settings. What can I do and why is it doing this?
  • Why is my iphone making the message tone but no message? My iphone, for the first ever time made the message tone and I have no message? There's no app on my phone that makes the same sound either I have checked, apart from tweet on settings, but I don't even have twitter… I received a message 20 Minuits before this happened but I read it and replied… I have a lot of storage on my phone so it can't be that either… So what is it?
  • Why is my iPhone 4 freezing up everytime I go to delete an app? Am I the only one having problems with deleting apps since the newest update? I've never had this problem before, and now everytime I go to delete an application, it just freezes and I have to reboot my phone by holding the home button and lock button. Is there any other way of going about deleting an app other than the computer?
