IPhone 4S not recognised by windows a d wouldn't charge?
Last night I plugged in my iPhone to caber and it wouldn't charge, so I tried 3 other official cables with no success, I plugged it into my computer to see that windows said the device had malfunctioned and iTunes wouldn't recognize it, I plugged it back in to the wall to see if it would charge overnight and it did, but I tried again in the computer and the same this happened, it did fully charge so it's probably not a hardware problem but I can't restore it as iTunes won't pick it up, I'm running iOS 7 beta 2 on an unregistered UDID so I imagine the Genius Bar is not an option, has this ever happens to anyone? And did anyone fix it without getting a brand new phone? Also is there any way I can restore to 6.1.3 without iTunes so I can go to the Genius Bar?
Dude, running iOS 7 without your UDID registered is a really bad idea. Your device can get bricked. You need to go to a site like http://www.instantudid.com/ and get that done. It's only $5 and they did mine instantly. Totally worth it.
- Wouldn't turning off iPhone while charging shorten battery life? They say the iPhone has a battery life of 400 full charge cycles before it starts its decline. Ok here is the thing… A lot of talk on how to save battery life on the iPhone by charging habits such as turning the phone off while charging, airplane mode while charging, turn off Wi-Fi bluetooth etc… But if the phone charges faster… Wouldn't that increase the amount of full charge/discharge cycles and there for decreasing the life of the battery?
- Usb not recognised iphone I'm trying to restore my iphone because its jail broken and i deleted everything out of ifile and now it won't go past the set up it just keeps flashing the set language page how can i get my computer to recognize my iphone? Is ut my light cable that's broke because it wouldn't let my sync it before i deleted everything out of ifile.
- I had to restore my iPhone because the iPhones store app wouldn't show up in any of my apps. Now that I restored it I have to download? All of my music again. When I click on the clouds to download it the spinning circles will come up and act like its gonna download for a little bit but then just stops and goes back to the clouds. None of my music will download. And my phones acting up now. Does anyone know how to fix this?
- Police officer wouldn't let me take my iphone with me? I want to record the traffic stop if I'm ever involved in another one. What happens if the police officer sees my iphone recording on the dash & asks me to exit the vehicle? I have to exit the vehicle, but what if the officer doesn't allow me to take my iphone with so I can continue recording? This happened to me before. Laws are so difficult. It's like they exist, yet no one wants you to know just exactly what rights you have.
