Iphone 4s or iphone 5 and iphone 4s compatibility?

I have decided I defintly want an iphone, but i'm unsure which one to get, I'm swaying towards the 4s due to cheaper cost. Although, my only concern is how long do you think it is before apple ignore the 4s and stop releasing updates for it and therefore not being able to download loads of apps for it, for example my old ipod touch can't download any apps no as I can't download any of the apple updates.

So what iphone do you think I should get and if i get the 4s, will I suffer in a year or so time due to apple neglecting it?

Apple are still supporting the 3GS with their latest software so I think the iPhone 4S will be fine for a good while yet

Apple still supports the iPhone 3GS and its running the latest software ios 6.1 although they don't make the iPhone 3Gs anymore.

If you buy the iPhone 4s they will still support it for a good 4+ years. I'm 100% positive about that. But if you don't want to spend a lot of money get the 4s but if you want the same phone with nothing but a longer screen go with the 5.

  • Why is the iPhone SE is on the bottom of the compatibility chart? Read more? So I looked at the compatibly chart for iOS 11 and I saw the iPhone SE and I noticed it on the bottom on top of the iPhone 5s. Why is that? Are they going to drop support for the SE before the iPhone 6s? Like come on it just came out last year. The iPhone 5c received the same amount of updates as the 5. Also I have a blackberry now so will I need to call my provider to change internet packages? I already know I will have to get my sim card cut to a micro sim, Any help would be appreciated

When i placed it in direct sunlight and plug it into my iphone 5s running ios 7, it says accessory may not be compatible. How to fix this? I need help.
