IPhone 4S showing wrong location
I live in a place called Ashington, my iPhone 4S is showing I'm in a place called Newbiggin, like when I post a status on Facebook it says in Newbiggin, I'm not I'm in Ashington, from Ashington to Newbiggin is only like 3.5miles but its confusing my Facebook friends, please someone help me, I need it to be the correct location
if possible could people explain in step by step how to fix the problem
Try typing in your address and see if it shows as a location. If not, you can't really create it with Facebook and have to use your nearest location. Kind of dumb. With Instagram, you can title you location properly and actually have it pinpointed exactly where you are. Sorry about that.
My ip4 doin well… Try this hope your will be well…
1. Close all open applications.
2. Power cycle the phone.
Seemed to clear up the issue. From what I found in reading different article online - when you power cycle the phone, it clears all cached location data.
OR
Go to your location services. On the bottom is system services. Go in there and turn off setting time zone.
Then go back and set your time zone correctly. Leave auto set time set to on
Now go back and turn on setting time zone under location services.
- Tech geniuses. Is there a way to fake your iPhone s location? *specifically on find my friends /location services*? Wondering if anyone can help me either 1) freeze my iPhones location at a specific spot or 2) completely fake the location (without jailbreaking my phone) I'm required to share my location at all times to my parents and need a night a feeedom.
- My Iphone is showing wronh GPS location? I have a problem. My iphone is showing wrong location. I restarted my phone but it is still not showing my correct gps location. https://where-am-i.live
- My iphone is showing wrong Capacity what is going on? My iphone is showing i have 6.35 gb storage left and i only have.43 gb of other since i just restored to factory setting to see if it would fix the problem i normally get 16 gb why is the phone showing this? Also have most current update.
- My iPhone 6 (iOS 9) is showing the wrong amount of minutes next to updates on my lock screen? For example, if I got a text 9 minutes ago, instead of saying "9 min" next to the text (on my lockscreen), it will say "3 min" instead. I don't know why it's started doing this. I think it's probably a small problem with iOS 9 or I accidentally messed something up when I created a new iCloud account last week, which is around when this started. Does anybody know how to fix this?
