IPhone 4S to 4? Different Carrier?
My iPhone 4S broke, and my sister gave me her old iPhone 4, which was for Verizon. It has no sim card slot, so if I go into the AT&T store, will they be able to put my service onto the iPhone 4? Or is it carrier specific?
It's specifically made for CDMA network and locked to Verizon. You can't use it on Att.
You can't do that you will have to activate the iphone 4 through verizons store and make them restore it from your recent 4s back up. And you will have to deactivate that 4s which also has a termination fee thats around lik 300 dollars.
- Verizon iPhone 4 on a different carrier? I have an iPhone 4 from Verizon, I cancelled my contract a year ago so it has a clean ESN now. I want to put service on it, looking for $30-$50/mo, all I need is at least 200 minutes of Talk, nothing else. Does anyone know of a carrier that will add service to this phone at that price? I found a service called Straight Talk SIM for GSM/AT&T phones, and I was hoping for a similar service for CDMA phones. Please, and thank you.
- Unlocking iphone 5 for different carrier? Anyone know how unlocking an iphone 5 works? I don't have money to pay for the service and att won't do it for me
- Iphone 4 - Is it possible to change to a different carrier? I have iphone 4 non jailbreak, with koodo as a carrier paying $35/month. I wanna switch to mobilicity but i can't unless i pay out my phone since, this phone is 3-year term, and its been less than a year. However, i heard that if you jailbreak your phone you can change carrier. Is this possible? The reason i want to switch carrier is because mobilicity is cheaper and gives more unlimited features for a cheap price over koodo.
- If I buy an iphone used from another carrier ad buy a sim card from my carrier will that work? I have an iphone 4s with virgin mobile and I want an iphone 5 but all virgin mobile phones are so expensive! I looked on ebay for virgin mobile nano sim cards and they are only around 2 dollars. If I bought one of these sim cards and a used iphone 5 from another carrier would it work with my carrier?
