IPhone 4S, Water Damage. Need Advice
I Was At Work When I Was Changing The Water Jug It Cracked And Water Fell On Top Of Me. IPhone Was In My Pocket. I Soon Took It Out And Cleaned It Off And Left It In Front Of A Fan. My iPhone Responds Well To My Touch And Everything. Just That My Ringer Sensor Turns On And Off, From Silent To Full Volume Constantly And Soon Then The Temperature Logo Shows Up And Doesn't Allow Me To Use Phone. I Turned My Phone Off When I Got Home And Stuck It In Uncooked Rice Been In There For About 5 Hours. And, Hasn't Been On Since Then.
Also, My Rear Camera Looks Like Steam Is In It And Is Completely Dark When I Try To Use It.
Any Advice Or Suggestions On How To Fix It On My Own? Or Is My Best Bet To Go Get It Checked Out And Fixed.
Find someone… Why? If you tried to fix it on your own, it'll just cause more problems. Find a professional to fix it for you.
Leave it in the Rice overnight and check it tomorrow morning. I always suggest this to people who post similar questions as this when they get their phone wet.
It is worth it to get yourself a waterproof case, such as an "Otterbox"
They may seem expensive, but trust me, if it means saving your $600 phone, wouldn't you agree its worth it?
My friend had also suffer from the same problem you are suffering. Actually every electronic goods get damage when they fall on water. When your iPhone accidentally fall on water then you should take out the battery as soon as possible from your device. When you said then you had keep in uncooked rice beam, i think you should not had done that because dust and other unwanted materials may had entered in your phone. Personally i advice you to consult with iPhone cure center.

Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. My question is this: is there any app that has free songs on it already? Not looking for an app that takes me to a website. Androids have tons of apps that have tons of songs in their libraries.
