IPhone 4S won't send text messages?
My phone can go on the Internet and connect to Wi-Fi, I'm actually writing this question from the phone itself.
When I hit 'send' on a text, it starts sending, but stops midway and says "Sending 1 of 1" underneath the contact's name at the top of the conversation thread. It started yesterday and hasn't sent a message since. Calls are functioning as they should, it's just text messaging. What's wrong with this thing? Is there an obvious fix that I haven't thought of? Or do I need to take it to Apple (last resort).
Just call your phone company. It's nothing to do with anything on Apple's part. Since it's just text messaging, it's your carrier. Should be a simple easy fix.
- Why won't my iPhone connect to the internet or send text messages? It was working completely fine until earlier today when I was using the internet and it suddenly said that it could not connect to the server. I thought the problem was my home Wi-Fi so I turned it off but it still didn't work. I also just realized that text messages are not going through. I have virgin mobile and in the top left corner of my phone it says I have service and Wi-Fi, but neither of those things are actually working.
- Why won't my iphone 4 send text messages to one of my contacts? My iphone 4 is in perfect working condition and it successfully receives and sends text messages to all my contacts except for one. I had been texting that one contact all day, but around midnight, my phone kept saying, "messge send failure" with a little "!" beside the text every time i tried to reply. Why is this? It's been around fifteen hours and it still won't allow me to send messages to that one contact.
- What do i do when my iPhone 4 won't let me send i message or text messages? I was spamming my friend with emoji emotions when all the sudden my phone freezes until i pressed the home button. But i tried to go back to message and it won't let me. It tells me i hot 3 messges from my friend but i can't open them.
- My New iPhone 4 won't send or receive text messages? I have checked the service centre number which is correct, I have updated the ios software thing (I'm not too clever with Apple products but yes it's been updated).It says iMessage is waiting for activation but it has said this for ages now. I have tried absolutely everything with still nothing. I can make calls, use the internet, I can do everything else! I just can't send or receive text messages… Will someone please help me?
