IPhone 5: Apple care+ vs good protection/case?
I just ordered the iphone 5 but i'm not sure how to protect it. I could either put no case on it and purchase apple care+ for $100. This will cover up to 2 incidents of accidental damage for 2 years with a $50 deductible. Or i could just invest in a case case and screen protector. I'm considering the spg glass screen protector that will prevent scratching and screen cracking from a drop. I would also get an spg bumper case along with that to protect the sides of my iphone as well as to absorb shock in the event of a drop. These 2 together will run me about $70.
I looked into at&t insurance and they also cover theft but they charged $7/month + a $200 deductible. Not worth it in my opinion.
For me, I think the apple care+ is really necessary, because a high quality case can protect my iphone 5 well with a low cost. But it's all up to you. If you want to find a suitable case, there will be a good choice. Hope can help you! Http://www.case2case.net/
- Speck case vs Otterbox vs others for iPhone protection? I'm about to buy a new iPhone 5 and drop my phone occasionally and wanted to know what case would be bes to protect my phone. I like the look of the Speck more but also need to make sure it will keep my phone from breaking. Any thoughts from people who've had either the Otterbox or a Speck case or another one that offered good protection is awesome, thanks!
- IPhone 5 case and protection? I'm about to get an iPhone 5 soon and wanted to choose the best route for to protect it. To start off I'm looking at glass Tr for a screen protector. A case I'm still undecided, looking at the Draco Aluminum bumper. But it doesn't really protect the back. Is there anyway the glass tr will fit with the draco, and if so is there any duel glass set to protect the back.
- If I use my Apple Care to get a new iPhone can I repurchase Apple Care again? I figure that because they will usually replace your troubled phone with a refurbished one you should be able to, but if anyone could weigh in on their knowledge or experiences I would appreciate it.
- How much will apple replace a water damaged iphone 5 with apple care+? I have an Apple IPhone 5 that was bought I'd say 2 months ago but here's the story I went to my uncles birthday party and my cousins pushed me in the pool as a prank but besides that how much will they replace it for but the rice method and everything else didn't work
