IPhone 5 case or screen protector?
I ordered the iPhone 5 but I really want to make sure I don't drop it. The otterbox defender is an option but I personally don't like large, bulky cases that hide the glamour of the design. I'm debating whether or not to get a full body Screen protector from Steinheil or Ghost Armor, probably Steinheil Ultra Crystal though, or get the Ultra Thin Air case from Steinheil. The case comes with a front screen protector, I think, so I want to decide which is better.

I used to be an Otterbox person all the way because of how nice the cases were except for the size. They were huge!
One day I walked into best buy and saw something called a Lifeproof case. At Best Buy, they were $80.00. The reason for this is because it's waterproof up to 6.6 ft deep, dirt proof and shock resistant.
You should be able to look on eBay for one because I just purchased another one for my 4s for $40 and free shipping.
I don't know if the Lifeproof cases are available for an iPhone 5 but that's what I suggest. If not, I would honestly go with the Otterbox case because having a brand new iPhone 5 is a huge risk and they break easily. Since it's new, you would probably have a problem with getting it repaired/replaced unless you purchase a new phone.
Hope this helps!
If I were you, I'd go for Barely There from Case-Mate. I bought this because I wanted the most unobtrusive case I could get. I didn't want to add any bulk to my iPhone (like OtterBox). The case is very slim and light and does a nice job of protecting the phone as well as the buttons and the back. It's very unobtrusive and wraps around the phone very tightly, like it's part of the phone. Other cases can give a bit when you squeeze or don't quite grip right, but this one is perfect. And for screen protector, I like Zagg InvisibleSHIELD.
There are plenty of options for protective iPhone 5 cases that aren't as bulky as an otterbox. You can see several different kinds here:

Also, a flip case is a good option. In this kind of case your screen is always protected:

If you're looking for a case that offers a good amount of protection these hard covers should do the trick. They are slim enough that they won't hide the design of the iPhone but they do provide solid protection for the phone.

I didn't want a bulky case either so this was the one that I went with.
- Rugged/waterproof iPhone 5 case compatible with screen protector/back film protector? Was wondering if there's any iPhone 5 case out there that is compatible with a screen protector and/or a back film protector on the iPhone itself? I understand cases like Lifeproof need you to remove your screen protector so it can maintain it's waterproof abilities. Was just looking for a case that can work both ways.
- My spektrum case didn't come with a screen protector? I recently bought a spektrum tuff case for my iphone 4. It said on its box that it comes with three pieces. But I only got the case and the rubber part. There was no screen protector. Did I get ripped off? Or is that on purpose?
- My iphone screen gets scratched even with screen protector? I have an iphone 4 in white and i bought it with a screen protector. I keep it very safe, never dropped, i, never put it in a pocket full of stuff.yet, i have several hairline scratches.within a week's use. I don't think i pressed that hard on the screen either. I treated my iphone 3g with the same treatment and even dropped it twice. I didn't even have a screen protector on it! So why does my iphone 4 keep getting scratched!
- IPhone 4S case with a built-in screen protector? I need a iphone 4s case with a built in screen protector. I want one that you won't know is there, like the otterbox cases are fantastic, but they are so big and bulky. I had the lifeproof and it broke and i don't want to spend another eighty bucks on a case. Can you please help me? Lol
