IPhone 5 charger problems

So, I got an iPhone 5 about three weeks ago. The first charger, which came with the phone, worked for 4 days and then stopped working. I then got a cheap $1 one and it worked for a few days and then the same thing happened. I just got a $25 charger two days ago and it worked wonderfully until now. The message "This accessory may not be… Etc" popped up which is normal for my phone except for usually even when that happens it charges. Now it won't even do that. I'm extremely irritated with this and I don't know what to do. Can someone please help!

If you went through that many chargers I'd assume it would be your phone or probably the plug in that you're plugging your charger Into. My mother got an iPhone 5 and hers wouldn't charge. It wasn't the charger, it was the phone. I would call apple and tell them what the problem is and then they'll send you a new phone. All you gotta do is call, tell them the problem, and then they'll send you a new phone if they consider it being a problem. Don't wait too long though. I know they ask for a credit card before they send you the phone so In case if you don't send the old one back they'll take the money for the new one from there. I hope this helped. Buy 1 high copy charger or get genuine charger in 2nd hand shops or if didn't work try to restore

You probably twisted around the cord. This can ruin the wires, so you must hold it at a certain position for the wires to line line up. You also need to buy a real Apple cord, not a 3rd party cord. The Lightning connector is all digital, so in a future software update, Apple can make all non-Apple cords not work anymore.

I had the same problem. If you will look at the tip of the charger that goes into the phone, you will see a little gold lines. Dirt collects between those. Simply take a pointed knife and clean them out and the charger will work fine.
