IPhone 5 having issues on verizon?

I got an iPhone not to long ago and it was perfect until it started having issues. When I say issues I mean there's a green line that is like a glitch when I'm going to use my keyboard and my phone also suddenly shuts off and occasionally the home button does not work and I would just ignore the issues but I paid a good amount of money for it so I want it to work perfectly since it wasn't cheap. Will Verizon send me another one since I do pay the protection plan a every month? There's no damage to the phone i bought a otter box so nothing would happen to my phone. Someone please help.

It sounds like it's a defective iPhone. I suggest to get a new one immediately. I'm not sure you have a warranty with the phone but it should be possible to get the phone replaced from Apple or Verizon itself within 90 days. So if you bought it within 90 days, you should be good. Try to replace it as fast as you can.

Never heard of that happening, yeah I would take it back adn have them swap or fix it. They will switch it no problem.
