Iphone 5 headphone jack not working.possible to adapt lightning to a headphone jack?
Friend and i plugged iphone 5s in at party to play music.both iphone's headphones jacks stopped working.fried had apple care, i do not. I found an adapter that goes from lighting to micro usb and an adapter that goes from micro usb to headphore port. If i buy these adapters will i be able to use it as a regular headphone jack? Or is there another way to get around it?
It's possible. The original USB type of thing has the ability to pass actual music through it, that's what the original ihome docks were based off of. I would imagine that the lightning cable has the same capability. What's this adapter called? I'd like to check it out as well for my old iPod.
- Why isn't my iPhone headphone jack not working? My not even a month old iPhone 6s headphone jack isn't working. I will plug in my headphones and the sound isn't being played in the headphones and is still playing as it should without anything plugged in, I have tried other earbuds and headphones but they do the same. Does anyone know what's wrong?
- Headphone jack I just drilled in my iPhone 7 is not working what do I do? I saw a YouTube video showing me how to drill a new headphone jack into my iPhone 7 now only half of the screen works is this normal?
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
- My iPhone 4 headphone jack isn't working? Ok so this started today and I tried to plug in headphones and the speakers on the iPhone kept running and I looked in the small headphone jack hole and I could see it lighting up when I turned my pone on and off? Is there a way I can fix this? And I'm getting a pone upgrade soon but will apple take it with a broken headphone jack?
