Iphone 5, help, forgot password lock?
I have an iphone 5 and i forgot my password to unlock my phone, is there anyway I can reset my iphone to unlock it again?
The only way to unlock it again is to restore it to factory new, but this will wipe out all your data for security purposes. Yes that's really stupid ik.

Connect your iDevice to your Computer and open the iTunes program. You will need internet access and a Apple account. If not, this will not work.

Turn on your iOS Device. Now hold down the Sleep/On/Off button and the Home Button at the same time for about 30 seconds.
Skip the Turn Off Menu when it appears. Continue holding down the buttons.

If done correctly, your iOS Device has turned off and then 1-3 seconds later, the Apple logo will came up, continue holding down the Power and Home Buttons. In approximately 20-30 seconds after it shows the Apple logo, it will display a "Connect to iTunes" image.

Now iTunes will show the iOS Device and say: "iTunes has detected a iOS Device in recovery mode. Please restore it before using it with iTunes."
If you did not connect the iOS Device to iTunes before you continued with the steps then this will not work. Also, iTunes doesn't distinguish an iPhone with an iPod in this message.

Click on restore on iTunes.
Restoring the iOS Device means to delete everything that is saved to the device. Including the password. It deletes everything because the passcode is designed to protect the owner's privacy. Thus, deleting everything is the only way to reset it.

After the download is complete, iTunes will automatically install it to your iOS Device.

Sync your iOS Device (Or use the backup if you did back it up) to iTunes and you should be back to normal. No password necessary
Take into an Apple Store and they will be happy to unlock it for you.
- What do i do if i forgot my iphone password? Okay so i was messing around on the settings on my iphone 3g and i set a password which uses the keyboard so i set a pass word then decided that i should change it back and when it asks to re enter the password it says its wrong! The next time is 1 hour so please help! They password was "beyonce" if you must know! How could i have spelt it wrong twice when setting it the first time! Do i need to restore it? And will i lose some of my photos?

Sadly I forgot the password and I can't connect to my computer since its not here. Is there an easy way to reset my phone back to factory settings? Loosing all my date is fine I just want to be able to use it. Also for Imessage will I be able to message friends from the USA and Canada from Israel using nothing but Wi-Fi?

I forgot the password right when i put it in… I tried re entering it and now i'm locked out for a whole hour. I tried the restore thing but the passcode is still there. - I forgot my password to my iPhone! Please I changed my password earlier today cuz my little sister figured it out and I'm almost positive of my passcode but it just won't work. I've had it for nearly 3 months and I only use it to take pictures and make calls and I've neevr backed it up. Is there any way to unlock it without losing everything? Lots of memories will me lost.
