IPhone 5 hotspot unable to connect to computer through Wi-Fi?
Basically my mum bought the iphone 5 but it was broken because you can't hear anything without loudspeaker when talking to someone, so my mum received
the replacement iphone but it's hotspot won't connect to our computer, but the iphone before the replacement hotspot was working perfectly, can someone help?
The new phone may have a different hotspot SSID than the old one. Are you sure you're trying to connect to the new SSID? Did you turn hotspot on in Settings? Is the security key for the new one different than the old one? I'd try deleting the hotspot SSID in the computer and setting it back up fresh.
This is the fix! When you restored your iphone4 to your new 5 the settings conflict. Just do the above. Perfect!

- Why can't my desktop connect to our Wi-Fi at home but does connect to moble hotspot? Suddenly my desktop won't connect to our Wi-Fi. All other devices such as laptops, phones and tablets connects just fine. I tried connecting it to my iphone's hotspot and it works. I tried to unistall and reinstall the wireless adapter but still won't work. I also tried to reboot the router and even tried to change the channel but still failed to make it work. Do you have any other way to make it work? I have windows 7 on my desktop.
