Iphone 5 iMessages won't activate?

So, I got my iPhone fixed today at apple and they restored all my settings, etc. I get hoe and put all my info back onto my phone and now it's saying my iMessages won't activate. I found every trick online to fix it & it still just won't activate. Sometimes it says it's my network, other times it says iMessage activation has failed (something like that) or it just sits there forever saying waiting for activation can someone Please help me!

Make sure that the phone number and email that is linked to your apple account are correct. Try deleting both, and putting it back (this worked for me)
if nothing, make sure you have service, as this will interupt imessage. If still nothing, i would call or go to apple

Turn imessage and facetime off.reset all settings (know your Wi-Fi password) … Turn them on and sign back into facetime and imessage making sure sent and receive is filled in and it should work… Activation can take 24 hours.

But now, our messages aren't sent through iMessage and its really annoying. Any ideas how this could be put right? All my other friends that I message are sent on iMessage, just not her.

  • Why won't my iPhone 6s Plus send iMessages and gets no notifications for messages? IMessage and notifications are on but it's still broken. I tried resetting my phone like its brand new and updated my phone and pretty much everything else and still nothing. Any ideas? It stopped working about two days ago
