Why isn't the iPhone 5 on the apple website?
Want the 5? Get the 5c. Similar features.
They discontinued the iPhone in 2013. Haven't you heard? The iPhone 5s is the newer, better version of the iPhone 5. ( better camera, faster, more color options, etc)
They have stopped selling it officially and only 5S, 5C, 4S are available now. But if you want it you can buy it from any other online seller like Amazon.

Although if you are think about buying it, better wait. When iPhone 6 comes out in a couple of months, price of iPhone 5S will definitely go down. IPhone 5S has the A7 Chip that outperforms newer Snapdragon 801 chips in S5, M8 etc. Its a worthy upgrade. And after the release of iPhone 6, it won't be abandoned and would be sold just like 4S for a couple of years at least.
They don't make it anymore. They haven't for a year. They make 4s, 5c, 5s only. They ditched it like iPad 3. Nobody knows why. Have to buy used on that one. Best luck.

I was browsing through the website and I was thinking about purchasing the iphone 5 thinking maybe it would be cheaper to buy since the iPhone 5s is coming out on the 20th, but I noticed they took the iPhone 5 off the website. It's weird cause they have the iPhone 4s on there and it's older than the iPhone 5. What happened with the iPhone 5?
