IPhone 5 itunes songs/albums?
Okay so basically I was wondering how to put multiple artist under one album? Because I have like three albums that have different artist, like the greatest hits, and when I sync them onto my iPhone, it does all the songs separately. So I have like 10 of the same albums with only one song on each of them, but it's the same album, just different artist. So is there a way I can make them show up under that one album and not separately? Cuz I don't like how it's like that.

I'm trying to figure out how to not have 10 different albums, which are the same, but instead have one with the multiple artist. I have like, 5 songs from the Punk Goes Pop album, and instead of putting them under one album, itunes made five separate albums, so I want to fix that.
You can edit the song by right click on the song then click the 2 tap at the top and then edit your song.
OK, highlight the songs you want in say… 'Album A'. Right click, on one of the highlighted songs and a menu will pop up which will edit the information for All of the highlighted songs. All you want to then do is edit ALBUM ARTIST and change it to VARIOUS ARTISTS.
The box should look like this when you're done;
Artist - (Blank. Because each song has a separate artist)
Album Artists - Various Artists
Album - 'Album A'
Do the same for all 3 of your compilation albums.
It's slightly different on my Macintosh, but should work for you.
- Why won't certain albums transfer from iTunes onto my iPhone? Most albums I can drag onto my phone without issues. But Gorillaz D-sides disk 1.disk 2 works fine)) and Best of Björk Wong work. It doesn't show each one being transferred like normal and when I open up my phone library on iTunes, they show up but are a lighter shade of grey and have this weird dotted circle on the left of them
- Why does iTunes split up my albums? This probably one of the only things I liked better about my Windows phone. When I transferred albums from my PC to my phone, all of the albums stayed in tact, whether or not there was more than one artist featured on a given album. However, as I began to transfer music from my PC to my iPhone, the albums were split up anytime a song had a different artist. Why does iTunes do this? It is beyond annoying.
- My iTunes won't sync certain albums? I have the latest version of iOS 7 on my phone, and I have the latest version of iTunes itself. Some of my new albums that I've downloaded (not from the iTunes store) are not syncing to my phone. This is the first issue that I've had with syncing music that I've downloaded elsewhere. Does anyone know what's happening? I've also restarted both my iPhone and computer.
