Iphone 5, Minus button defect?
Recently updated to the latest IOS software on my Iphone 5 (Not S) And the minus button has completely stopped working! My phone is well looked after ie big case & Protectors so no damage, the only explanation would be the update! Any remedies?
Firstlty reinstall it to the basic mode and made it upggrated by some proffesinols…
If you have all your files backed up i would suggest a a full restore using itunes with the phone actually plugged into the computer.
The recent updates have had some notorious affects on handsets. I would suggest a back up and a full restore to factory settings. Try and see if the minus button works as the handset will be reset to factory reset with nothing on it at this point. If that works then i would restore from back up (one you created before restoring) and seeing whether it works. Obviously, if the problem still persists then I would revert to Apple for further investigation.

- What do i need when I go to the apple store if i have a defect on my Iphone? On my Iphone 6 the front facing camera is off set and it aggravates my OCD also my vibrate switch wobbles and makes a rattling sound.
- My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!
- Is the iphone 5s' home button bigger than te iPhone 4S home button? Need As soon as possible me and my brother are getting into a fight about it cuz he said he's going to change the 4s home button to the 5s home button
