IPhone 5 on Sprint? Sprint 3g vs 4g lte?
I just bought an iPhone (with update ios6.0.1) and my iPhone says Sprint 3g in the corner… But I thought it was supposed to be 4g lte or something?
You are only receiving 3G transmission from Sprint. The phone can & will operate on 4G.
The signal you are receiving is not that of a 4G capacity. It could be where you live. Call Sprint & have them check your area for any problems with the towers. This will effect the operating speed of your phone.
You probably don't have 4G LTE in your area.
Iphone 5 with Sprint 3G is best.
- Will Metro PCS New Sim card for their 4G LTE work on my Iphone 4 thats unlocked? I have an iphone 4, iphone 4s and a 5 now and i know Metro pcs has been using sim cards for their 4G network instead of the CDMA and hence using the sim cards for service, so would i be able to use metro pcs on my iphone thats unlocked? On any of those?
- Why is my iPhone 5 saying I either have 3G or LTE? I bought the iPhone 5(: I know it's a 4G phone, but why does it either say 3G or just LTE at the top? I don't get it? Occasionally it will have 4G LTE but not in the last few days…
