IPhone 5 Replacement Legible?

Just until yesterday, I opened my camera application and I realized a black strand of string or metal shaving of some sort. I know it can't be hair because of the complexity and the shape of the object. It's very random and jagged. I tried cleaning the outside layer of the lens but this was not effective as I found out it is inside protective sapphire crystal layer itself. I tried looking through to see with a physical macro lens to see if the object was stuck to the inside layer of the protective glass or the optical sensor which I had no luck with. My phone is still under warranty with few months to spare. My phone has no screen cracks, water damage nor any type of deformation around the phone so my question is would I be able to get a repair or a replacement unit? Every time I take an image with the back-facing camera, a black line in middle of the photo shows up and it is quite irritating.

If you bought it from apple or what ever company you bought it from they will probably give you a new iphone 5 especially if you go with apple I've heard apple replace phones if you drop it and its your fault so they will more likely definitely swap it because that's not your fault just have it so you can show a genius guy the problem and you might want to book just incase!
