IPhone 5 restarted on its own?

I got my iPhone 5 two days ago and it didn't come with ios7, I started to update it last night but paused it as it was taking too long, it has been working fine all day but just now the screen went white with he apple sign and was loading, so i restarted it again properly (holding the lock and home button) but it won't let me do anything it just says connect to itunes. I have done that but it says 'restore phone'. I'm not sure what to do or how to fix it or what will happen, really confused!

Aaah yes I've faced this similar issue just a while and a few days back. This is simple. That you're using too much internet from the phone and its software got a bit disturbed. You should give it to the apple store and tell them to refresh you're phone's software. And things should be ok.otherwise a couple of days after you'll see strange blue, green screen's coming up without clicking. And also that you're phone's not recharging at all… Even if the plug is switched on. Better get on it.

Slight warning… Happens with samsung phones as well and software refresh can be done only in apple stores and not via internet solutions. Its not safe as virus's are prone to enter your phone and hack you're contacts. And also that the apple store would be refreshing you're phone so empty you're phone stored contacts and phone memory before you give them

In itunes when it asks you to restore the phone just click yes! You have messed with the operating system stopping the download half way through the process so now the only way to get it working again properly is using the computer with itunes to… Restore the operating system.
