Iphone 5 screen cracked and home button gone?
So weeks ago I dropped my beautiful iphone 5 onto the concrete. Cracked. I got over it. Continued to use it. So the glass on top of the home button on my phone I notice was loose. Weeks went by and it fell off taking the home button with it. So now I have a cracked phone and no home button. I have been using the assisted help from settings on my phone (home button usage) But I would really like to fix my phone and I need to know the cheapest route. Would I be able to just replace the screen? Would the home button come with that? Would I have to replace the whole phone? Should I go to the apple store? Should I go to some cheap screen replacing place?
The cheapest and easiest way to fix the phone is defiantly going to the Apple Store! It's a really nice thing that Apple offers. I know it's not uncommon for Apple to replace for very cheap, and the button has to be cheap. It's a button. (I had my screen repaired for free once.)
So yeah-- I defiantly think you should go check out an Apple Store.
It sounds like your phone is broken. I'd get it fixed if I was you.
- Which iphones home screen have screen rotation for the APPS HOME screen? I know the iphones on web rotation on internet use and youtube thats not what i'm asking the home screen which iphones have a home screen where the apps are have rotation not web or youtube or videos the home screen which iphone?
- My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!

I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
