IPhone 5 stuck in recovery mode after trying to update to iOS7
I was trying to update my iPhone 5 to iOS7 and my phone shut off, then showed the 'Connect to iTunes' screen. I connected to iTunes, tried to restore, but got an error message saying that the file was corrupted.
To put into recovery mode plug cord into the computer but not into the phone. Make sure itunes is open and hold the home button in while plugging the cord into the phone. Continue to hold the home button in till itunes recognizes a device in recovery mode and follow directions.
