Iphone 5 supports both GSM & CDMA?
So I heard Iphone 5 (apparently also 4s) supports both GSM & CDMA. Then for example, can an unlocked verizon(CDMA) iphone 5 be used for AT&T(GSM)? If so, how?
Yes they can but the Carriers like At&t (GSM) and Verizon (CDMA) put software locks on them which don't effect the Apple software but make it to where you can't switch carriers. If it is a truly unlocked phone then they can be used on either, however you need to buy it directly from Apple online to get it truly unlocked.
