IPhone 5 water damage transfer info to other phone?
So i have an iphone 5 it got water damage (fell in a hot springs) tried fixing it opening it up and drying it up and everything. It turned on for a little but after that didn't turn on again. Doesn't charge either so yeah. Was wondering if i get another iPhone can verizon(my company) transfer all my information from that iphone to another one? Including all my lost calls messages etc?
They probably can't do anything if its damaged, you will have to get your data from your last backup you did.
If your iPhone storage is still working, you can use some third party software like this Data recovery for iOS to recover the files from iPhone to your computer, and then use iTunes to re-sync the files to your new iPhone, this way worked well for me.

- Will water stains on my iPhone screen damage my phone? Some water managed to get under my iPhone screen through a crack on the screen while it was raining. My phone works fine as of now, but there's a light blue stain and another white stain which look like dripping water under my phone screen. When I look up the IMEI of my broken iphone 5s on iphoneimei.info it says it's 16gb and when I look it up on imei.info it says it's 32gb… Which site is more accurate? The iphone is stuck in recovery mode and will not power on unless connected and it won't tell me the storage capacity in itunes.
- Is my phone safe from water damage? Two days ago I dropped my iphone in some water. I quickly took it out, switched it off and then dried it. Then I put it in a bag of rice for 2 days. I turned my phone on today and everything seems fine: the sound works, it isn't slow and the screen is ok but do you think there's still a chance, if there's still a bit of water in there, for there to be a short circuit?
