Iphone 5 with 64gb or iphone 5s with 16gb?

Okay, so I never owned any iphone's before, up to now i've been using a blackberry and a samsung ace… I did have a itouch 2 gen before but it got stolen and so I still have around 1, 000 songs on my itunes… I'm torn between getting the latest iphone or getting just the iphone 5. The 5s where I live costs 229$ on contract for 16gb and I can get 64GB on the 5 for the same price… So i'm just asking is there really a big difference in the iphone 5 and 5s? Should i just get storage > new device? I sound like the typical spoiled teenager but I do work and I saved up enough, I'm just trying to get the most out of my paycheck.It'd be great if you can help me out with this decision!

I think you should get the iphone 5 with 64gb. The only different between the 5 and 5s is that the 5s has a fingerprint scanner. It will feel way better with lots f storage and you will never have to worry about not having enough room for apps and music.

Go for the 16 gb 5s
1000 songs would take 6 GB max.you'll still get around 7GBs of your 13 GBs in the phone for apps…
it's better to get the latest phone… You'l have a better resale value, you could use the 5s for atleast 3 years before it becomes outdated…

Do you need the extra storage?

I plan on getting a 5S 16GB with a contract. I have had my carrier for 8 years so I'm in no major hurry to switch carriers and I don't upgrade that often. I already have the money saved up but no one where I live has it in stock. I have relegated myself to patiently wait it out.

Get the 5 in a lesser capacity and use they extra $100 for AppleCare+.It covers your as when you eventually destroy it.

You should definitely get iPhone 5s

Get the iphone 5s because it's got more new features.
besides, you don't need that much storage for 1000 songs.
new ones are always worth it
