IPhone 5 won't connect to any networks at all?

I just recently purchased an iPhone. Well, for the past couple of hours I have been trying to connect it to my Wi-Fi network, but it keeps giving me the "unable to join" message, (P.S. I'm typing my password in correctly). I have tried turning the phone off & on, resetting my network settings, turning my router off & on, adjusting the brightness (on a forum, it was suggested it might work), I tried to see If I was behind in any kind of update, I'm all caught up. NOTHING seems to be doing the trick. Just when I thought it was my router it was only rejecting, nope. I went to starkbucks, and the "unable to join" message popped up when I tried to connect. I'm starting to think its hardware issues with the phone.

Any advice?

Maybe your Wi-Fi has problems

I had this issue, among many others, when I got an iPhone 5 with sprint. Go into the apple store and tell them your problem. They should be able to tell you what's wrong and fix it (they can run diagnostics and such). I think for my phone it was a software issue that happened when I transferred over from my old phone. Sidenote, I went back to AT&T. They took me back and I got an iPhone 5 through them and haven't had any problems.

  • Will any Ireland Mobile Networks support L. T. E (4G) or iPhone 5? The question pretty much says it all. Does anyone know if any Irish networks (I know Vodafone and O2 are not) supporting LTE:4G data? Specifically for the iPhone 5. Leave the fanboy troll comments at the door, a simple yes/no specifics are what I'm after.
  • Why can't i connect to my Wi-Fi if it works for other networks? My iPhone is really old is iPhone 2 but then it works fine. But i can't connect to my home Wi-Fi. It connects to other Wi-Fi networks when I'm at a friends house. I'm within the range for me house cause I'm next to the hotspot. For my friends house, I'm in the living room and the hotspot is in the bedroom which is 2 rooms down. Please help me. If i restore my iPhone will my Wi-Fi work?
  • Unlock iPhone 4 to all networks? I got an iPhone 4 locked to vodafone and i want to use it with my O2 sim card but Vodafone want to charge me £20 to unlock it! Is there anyway that i can unlcok it to any network without jail breaking? And without paying these weird websites…
  • My Iphone can't find any networks ANY I Have an IPhone 3G and when I go to Wi-Fi settings, it loads for a second then nothings pops out, My brother has the same iphone as mine, but on his Wi-Fi settings, a ton of networks pop out. Anyone out there who knows how to solve my problem?
