My iPhone 5 won't turn on and its been acting weird?
I have an iPhone 5 and its screen is lifted up- so I was at the pool and some water splashed on it and it turned off. I tried to turn it on but couldn t so I put it in rice over night to some the water out and then charged it. It turned on the apple sign (when you turn on your phone the white apple sign) and then held the on button down for ages but it just stayed on the apple sign.
The next day I tried again and a black screen with the iTunes icon, a charging icon and http: applesupport.com came up and stayed, I'm so confused and now I tried to charge my phone and turn it on but it isn't doing anything. I don't know if it is dead? The water splashed on it 4 days ago.
My Hauwei Ascend G690 does not load, but I'm not complaining.
Rice does not actually do anything useful if water has got inside a phone.
It needs properly dismantling, cleaning and drying if it is to have any chance of working long-term.
Otherwise, it may appear to start working again after it fully dries (or not) but as long as there's any residue from the water in it, it will be steadily corroding away and die totally after some time.

This is the result of not properly cleaning wet electronics - the "mould" is actually metal salts, what used to be metal circuit traces and parts of components…
It's beyond dead. Water kills iPhones.

- My iPhone 6 has been acting a bit weird lately? I'll be texting a few people on imessaging or kik, and I'll have to double tap the home button. Sometimes when I double tap, it brings me to what looks like my home screen, but with no apps, just the wallpaper I have set. When I press the home button again, nothing happens. I have to restart my phone. This can happen up to 3,4, or even 5 times a day. What does this mean? Is something wrong with my iPhone? I have the newest updates installed btw.
