IPHONE 5 WON't CHARGE WHEN TURNED ON?
I recently got the iPhone 5 and as you know, it has a different charger than the other Apple products. I've had to purchace 3 chargers because each one stops working. My newest one and only one that I have left recently started to just charge my phone while it's completely dead but once my phone turns on, it doesn't charge. Also if I try to start charging it while it is not completely dead it doesn't work. But, it will not stay shut off when I charge it therefore I'm not able to charge my phone past 3 percent, where it just dies again.
You could try going to an apple store and ask for help or maybe it's the phone and not the charger.
If 3 went bad then clearly you are doing something wrong. You can get a new chord on amazon really cheap, order one there. I did that and have never had a problem with the chord and have had it a couple years now.

I'm having the same problem but my phone is the iPhone 4 and it won't charge once it turns on from being dead. Its really aggravating.

Why won't it charge while turned on? And the battery seems to be draining extremely quick now. Anything I can do or is it permantetly damaged?

Also when I click my home button one time the phone sometimes wouldnt come on till the second click. What can I do?
